1996年、東京生まれ。2020年、女子美術大学洋画専攻卒業。

作品・コンセプトについて

私は排除を拒み、触れうるすべての未来のために技法を編み出し、制作し続けている。

美術を追求する場から誰も排除されるべきではない。

私は以前からそう信じて、制作を続けてきた。

未来のどんな私であっても、制作を手放さないために、2019年にできた技法、それが「獏嵌（ばくがん）」である。

絵の具を引っ掻き、そこに刻まれる浅い傷。

それは視覚を失っても手でなぞることで描いた線が分かり、力を失っても筋肉に頼らず描くことを可能にする。

私は、美術を求めるすべての者に開かれた場を、誰も置き去りにしない美術を、作り続けたいと願っている。

それは、ただ生きるための技術ではない。

まだ見ぬ未来の私自身と、いまここにいるすべての存在へ向けた、ささやかながら確かな闘いなのだ。

Exhibition Information

AWASE Gallery presents the solo exhibition “Beyond the Eyelid” by Baku Kiyokawa

Born in Tokyo in 1996. Graduated from the Department of Western Painting, Joshibi University of Art and Design in 2020.
Major exhibitions include: S.F Collection no Ichibetsu vol. 2 (N&A Art SITE, 2025), Blue Period × ArtSticker vol.2 (Art ka Bifun ka Paichu, 2024), Tactile and Reflective (Ginza Tsutaya Books FOAM CONTEMPORARY, 2024), On the Boundary Line (Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store Contemporary Gallery, 2023), Escape from the ⬜︎ (OF Gallery, 2023)

I refuse to be excluded and will continue to develop techniques and create artwork for all possible futures I can touch.
No one should be excluded from the art pursuit.
I have continued to create with “this belief”.
The “Bakugan” technique I developed in 2019 exists so that no matter who I become in the future, I will never lose my art making.
Scratching paint leaves shallow scratches.
Even if I become blind, I can still recognize a line if I trace it with my hand. Even if I lose my physical strength, I can create without relying on my muscles.
I hope to continue creating art that is open to all who desire it, art that will not leave anyone behind.
It is not just a survival technique.
It is a simple but certain act of resistance against my future self, which I have yet to see, and against everything that exists in the here, right now.
